The front axel and steering knuckles are the same on the Art Deco and Advanced Design trucks so the rotor and caliper swap is the same. The master cylinder location and pedal setup is completely different on the two trucks so you have to figure that out yourself. I had it easy because my truck is a 1/2 ton and plenty of kits are available. I'm not familiar with the 3/4 ton braking system so I can't help you there. I know the 3/4 ton stuff is hard to find so you might not be able to source a kit for your truck.

Thanks for the info. So if I have located an 8 lug caliper setup for a '47 it should fit onto the '46. https://www.tsmmfg.net/chevy-gmc-8-lug-truck-complete-front-disc-brake-kit-1847.html That's the one I'm looking at.

The Booster/Master Cylinder setup I've found is supposed to be for the '47 and newer trucks. It comes with a big bracket and pedal component that fits under the dash of the '47 trucks. The big benefit is not having to reinforce the firewall to take the pressure of stepping on the brake pedal. I'm not sure how different the dash is on the '47 and newer trucks but the company that makes the system is just a few miles from me and said I could buy it and if there is no way to make it fit under the dash I could return it, so I thought I'd give it a try since I'm having no luck finding anything specifically made for a '46.
