Looking for recommendations for a replacement rod bolt (3/8-24) for a 292 with original GM rods. Pioneer and ARP do not list one in their catalog but was wondering if a small block bolt would work? Is there a clearance concern with the cam to rod? I would check but mine is disassembled. The rods will be resized with new bolts.
