The simplest solution would be to do a side by side comparison. If the diameter, length, and bolt head shape are similar, there's no reason a small block V8 rod bolt won't work. The rod bolts need to be a very snug slip fit in the cap, and maybe a very slight press fit in the rod so everything stays aligned when you resize the rod bore. I ran the connecting rod reconditioning department of a big machine shop in Nashville for several years as a part time job after teaching school all day! It was not uncommon for us to substitute a non-specified rod bolt for one that was not listed in our parts catalogs, with no failures that I'm able to remember.
