ARP rod bolt kit 132-6001 is what arp lists as fitting 230-292 but that while those fit a 230 and 250, I think the deal is they are 11/32 bolts and they are not correct for a 292 which uses a 3/8 bolt. Let me look at what I used when I rebuilt a set of 292 rods.

Ok, I looked at my 292 stuff and found a set of arp 135-6002 big block Chevy bolts. I compared them to a set of arp bolts on a set of rods built by the sisal/Kirby shop and they look to be the same bolts just longer. I compared them to a stock bolt and they are a little bit shorter but the knurles are in about the right place. Let me find an unmolested 292 rod.

Just to be complete I dug out my Santucci book and he says that 292 bolts are the same as small block chevy 350 3/8 Bolts. See Santucci's Power Manual, First Edition at p. 53, Second Edition at p. 63.
