Thanks Jerry and Mike. The information is much appreciated. You are right, the 292 has a 3/8 rod bolt which has a larger diameter than a 194, 230, 250 rod bolt. From what I could tell the 3/8 small block rod bolt would fit the 292 rod but did not know if there were any clearance issues with the head of the rod bolt to the cam or something else. I have ordered ARP part number 134-6403 rod bolts to replace the originals. The rods will be resized with the new bolts. Thanks again.
