Most people drive with loose front-end parts until the damage is critical - you will be very lucky if only the bushings/pins need to be replaced.
Most people did-not/do-not inspect and grease front-end/suspension parts at least once a year.

Call around to see who has standard and oversized king-pin sets (so you will be ready to buy/order, if needed).
