I'm glad you guys have the photos of the long pulls. If you have pictures of the latches for these, please post as well. It is hard enough to find them as it is so having them all in one post would be great.
I'm really interested in what I need for the 54 as far as the latches go. I'll live with the marine pulls that MT posted but I don't know what changed that would keep me from using the parts Jim Carter has listed in one of my earlier posts. It could be that there is a coating added as MT says. I'm not averse to plasti-dip if that's really all I need! I don't want to do a $40 experiment to find out I can't use the ones listed. I'll pull a surround off one of my windows in the next few days to see if I can see the bolt pattern. Maybe MT or someone else can tell me if that looks remotely similar to the older trucks. I'm not sure why it is listed as a mid-1952 part. Something obviously changed for late 52-53 but if MT still has long pulls for 53 still it isn't because the pulls changed!
