If I go the route of moving hangars must I use rivets? Why couldn't I simply use bolts instead? Maybe that's a dumb question.

I'm pretty confident I can get the holes placed correctly. I do a lot of precision machine work and I'd just make a jig. I won't be cutting more than 2 feet.
