Yeah they definitely want to gouge ya. Wasn't thinking of buying the kit. Was thinking of trying to find out where they sourced the lifters from and then trying to go to the source. On another note, does anyone have any experience with delta camshaft? They have a grind they call "252" that sounds similar to what i'm going for- which is pretty much a smooth idle and flat torque curve.
