You're right about the lift, Mike. The difference is in the duration, and I'm betting the valve timing. If I recall the OE 261 cam is 244 duration... but that's subject to old timer's memory fog this morning. LOL. Is that a good trade-off - duration for lift? Probably for low end torque, but IDK.
