I've been on a quest for some lifters and a cam grind that would suit my needs for the last few weeks. The motor is from a Canadian made 261 Pontiac. From what I've been reading it sounds like hydraulic lifters are a bit of a roll of the dice and there are not many reliable suppliers for lifters. Does anyone have any experience with the lifters included in the kit on Cliffords website?

Seem to come across Sealed Power lifters often as well. Anyone have any insight?

Would be more than happy to get a set of new old stock ones, but I'm having a hard time confirming that anything I find on online is the correct lifter. Anyone have a part number? Well aware that this has all been discussed lots but I haven't been able to draw any conclusions from anything else I've read.

Also deciding on a cam grind, and it sounds like the 261 corvette grind would be adequate for me. Does anyone know what that would compare to for a hydraulic cam?

Any advice is appreciated
