I have YOM plates on my ‘53. Had a small amount of confusion at our local tax office but a call to Austin DVM and the patience of the local personnel got all the paperwork fixed up. I found original ‘53 truck plates (never issued and with the tissue paper still intact) on eBay at a reasonable? price.
