Im with Bartamos. Attack it from the front,, cut into the emblem and expose the points that hold it on. ( per Brad Allens picture).
Its a matter of using your imagineering and being smarter than what youre working against. The 4" angle grinder with different wheels will be an invaluable tool during a self restoration.
Dont forget the safety glasses,
