One other item I need to check is the clutch fork. Earlier, I think I recall, it was suggested a pivot ball(?) in or on the fork was referenced as a possible problem. Am I recalling correctly? If so, how is that removed, then reinstalled afterward? Does the fork pry out somehow?
I am about decided to replace the bearing, disc and clutch plate. I need to do some additional searching, but it looks like Jim Carter has the parts listed in their catalog.
Update: For future reference. After posting the question a venture out to the shop revealed the clutch fork prys off with a screw driver and the ball stud that attaches the fork to the bell housing has an 11/16” nut to secure the ball stud to the bell housing.
