I am uncertain of the required length. This throw out bearing measures 1 7/8” long, which matches the length given in the Jim Carter catalog for 6 cylinder models from 1938-1972. The Master Parts Catalog doesn’t list a length, and only lists one part number, which would seem to indicate there was only one size used. So, I am thinking the bearing isn’t a contributing factor to the problem???
two lengths of throwout bearings for 1938-1957 (1963) to match the different pressure plate designs/domes
