Test the sending unit/gauge out of the tank to make sure that when the float is all the way down, the gauge reads empty. Then you can bend the wire so the float is higher than what it is currently. Carl 1952 5-window - return to "as built" condition \| 1950 3100 with a 235 and a T-5 transmission
