My adapter plates were something my dad installed on the truck before I could even drive. They were a steel round plate that had recessed holes and used 11/16" lock nuts on the original 7/16" studs. Then they were drilled for the screw in studs in the 5 bolt "dodge" bolt pattern. At least one gets REAL close to the original nuts. I ran them, not without trouble as mentioned.

A car hub from similar year model will give you the front wheel 5 bolt pattern. That leaves you with re-drilling the rear axles. Moser was mentioned earlier. I contacted them and they told me they could do them. I sent them the axles and they changed their mind, They said that welding up the old holes hardened the old metal enough that they could not re-drill them. I found someone else willing to tackle the project and I am sure he will speak up if he wishes to be given due credit for his efforts.

Just my personal experience for what it is worth.
