Those all appear to be the same motor if you look at them, Why are you having so difficult of a time making the cable fit? As per my first post, I installed that kit in my 53 and only had to deflect the choke cable a little when I put it back in. I did have the spedo removed for access when I did it. If you go to my 53 3100 link below you can see a picture of my choke cable going by the wiper motor. (edit) I'm still not impressed with this kit, you would expect for 5x times the money of doing it yourself it would be a lot better. Even if it does last at least 22K miles.
I'm going to try it again with the speedo removed and possibly taking the choke cable out until I get it put in. Then maybe I can get the choke cable back in and routed around the motor like in your picture.
