I installed that same wiper kit, and was not impressed with it. It does work, but it didn't have the stroke on the wiper arms that I thought it should have.
The connection from the motor shaft to the arms would not stay tight enough even though I tightened it with pliers on the end of the allen wrench.
accidentally had my hand in the way of the wiper arm, and when it hit my hand it slipped on the shaft and the wipers stopped. Had to crawl back under the dash and redo it.
I didn't however have to move the choke on mine, but it took a little rerouting of the cable (and a few swear words on both projects) to make it work.
The stock looking wiper switch was plastic on my kit, and looked like it.
