Thanks guys, I'll inspect for cupping as soon as I can. Not sure if this makes a difference or not, but some of the milk can lifters I've seen for sale have a hole in the side of them, I don't recall seeing that in the one (and so far only) lifter I've removed. Is one more desirable than the other? Is that what you are talking about?(at887)
As for replacement... isn't a new set of lifters on an old cam, asking for trouble?
