I have blasted then rust-o-leum primed and rattle can painted. Also blasted and put POR15 on the chassis. I have a friend that we just blasted his chassis and he used the POR-15 kit on his chassis and it looks mighty fine. His reasoning is that while the POR=15 is a little pricey it actually cost less than buying all the rattle cans. The tip about self etching primer being porus is true. I still use it but only on stuff that is staying inside the shop or up in the attic. So when thinking what is best think what,when and where it will be. | | |
