NG SS. All to big as I posted, this motor is very small for a 1/3 hp.
That's why I believe the Chinese over-rate them by about two fold.
4 1/2" dia x 5 1/2" tall. I'd make a bracket up for a 1/3 hp wash machine
motor if they weren't so big around.
Also.....as posted....doesn't make good sense to put a $125 motor
from McMaster or Grainger on an $8 drill press. Even new these
little toys can be found for around $50. I think I saw a flyer from
HF for one at $59 the other day. I wouldn't go out and buy one of
these new for my shop, but for eight bucks I thought it might be
handy on the end of the bench to just punch out a rivet or some
other meager task when I didn't want to run to the other end of the
barn. I have a large Buffalo floor model industrial DP and a good
old trusty Craftsman floor model that has been in the family for more
than a half a century, both....from when they used to make decent
tools in this country.
