OK, I dropped the pan for inspection. First checked that the bearing cap and wrist pin nuts were tight. Check. Couldn't see any evidence of damaged skirt. Took off the rod cap and checked the bearings. Worn some, of course but didn't look bad to me. No copper showing. Same upper and lower. Anything else I can check from underneath?
