Thanks for the correction Doug and you are right, it was more of a wind sound than a roar.
Did not hear much of the engines even as they sped away.
As you can probably tell, I was never in the military.
So my knowledge is very limited.
Hats off to those that are serving and have served, to protect and defend this great country.
Going to look up and learn about the A-6E now.
