Roar and A-10 in same sentence does not get you a passing grade. I think the wings going through the air produces more dbs then the motors. Might also say that the pilot's cackling from inside the cockpit likely produced the first evidence of the approaching flight.
While I am on the line - where is the talk of the A-6E, Intruder. Named appropriately and one of the mightiest steeds in the sky. Have we all forgotten of that majestic beast, and of the brave airmen who flew and maintained them?
