One other thing that I noticed while test driving it on both occasions was that when I moved the shifter from Drive to 2nd in an attempt to make it down shift, it made a sound similar to what a bad u-joint sounds like just before it comes apart, except nowhere near as loud, if that makes any sense. Kind of a rumbling of parts which did not want to cooperate. It would go away soon after moving the lever back to drive. (The u-joints are tight by the way.)
