Finished putting the 12 bolt back together.
I never did find a new pinion gear crush sleeve locally, so I had a buddy make a 3/32" shim the same diameter as the crush sleeve, allowing me to get some additional squeeze out of the old one.
Worked like a champ.
I test drove it today and the rear end does not make a peep. No whine, no howl, no clunks. It is a good day.
