Turns out kids had been horsing around and put it in gear. It was safely chocked. Had me scratching my head for an hour or so until I noticed noise in the drivetrain when I tried to turn at the fan belt. Eureka!
Bartmoses, your idea about gas in the cylinder sounds.....adventurous, but not advisable. Are you serious?
