1954 and 1955 light switch Top photo sure looks like a 54 truck switch.
I think the 54 car and truck used the same switch.

It says in 1948-1949 There was one fuse for each high & low beam head light circuit and one fuse for each tail & stop light circuit on the firewall.
Another 54 looking switch the circuit breaker is the thing kind of in the middle, towards the back. The contacts are at the back end of it, the round thing at the rear end of the narrow strip of metal.

I can't seem to find a Circuit Diagram for the 1954 truck switch. That is what I was really looking for.

Is correct, you can see the two 25 amp thermal contacts on the 1955 switch.
