I'm used to seeing the glass fuse at the rear of 55-59 Headlight switches I've had.
Maybe so for 56-59 (
1955-2nd does not show a fuse?).
I think the original poster is referring to a 1954 light switch? No fuse is shown or referred-to in the shop manual (none of the 10 1948-55st switches that I have have a fuse).
