The photo shown is for a mid 60's truck and it works well with that configuration. However, that era trucks use center engine mounts and the PS pump bracket bolts to the mount pad on the front of the engine. That is a problem for a 56 using the stock bird leg front motor mounts because both would have to use those same mount positions. The later style PS pump bracket hangs off the water pump and will clear the stock 56 mounts.
