So, what I understand is that if I do all my own sanding and body work the problem with a $229 paint job is they use cheap paint and adhesion promoter instead of sealer.

what is the difference between cheap paint and the good stuff?

I am not trying to be a cheap skate. Just frugal with the little cash I have.
