It sounds like you are on your way! When starting out as you are, keep very good records on what you use in the way of primer thinner and what not. If something goes wrong, you can go back and look to see what you used a few months or years back. Try and stick with one brand of paint products. Also, this months copy of Super Rod Magazine has a great story on paint prep and getting started. You may want to look that up. Joe
