I'll have to take copies of those bending cards to the local muffler shop. It doesn't make sense to me that it would cost three times as much for slightly less material; however, the quote was given over the phone. Perhaps, a face-to-face conversation is in order.

This shop is well-known for quality custom work in the area.

Update: I went to the shop today. The owner produced the bending card and quoted me an out the door price of $35.00 for a tail pipe. All is well!
