Eastwood sells a shrinking hammer with a cam-driven rotating head. Is this just a POS gimmick, or does it really work? I might be able to get one of those for a good price, too.
Funny you should ask. The number 31218 I mention where I say mine is "similar", mine IS a Craftsmen with a fiberglass handle. My lovely exwife (bless her cheating heart) gave it to me for Christmas over 20 years ago. Yes you bet it is a good quality hammer. However, it is a "Club" of a hammer compared to the fine Martin hammers and many other pro hammers and dollies. If you use them a little you will see very fast what I am talking about.
The shrinking hammer, yes hey do work to a degree.I personally feel you should learn how to shrink properly and not damage the metal with a tool like that.
