Hammers, dollies, welder, 4.5" grider with flapdisk to smooth out weld when done (be CAREFUL).
Eastwood makes a good starter kit that I purchased that has served me well (various hammers and dollies).
Using the flange tool on this thick metal has not worked for me at all - so I just butt welded everything (cab corners, etc.). Came out pretty good - needs a little smoothing, but I'm happy.
I have not tried those butt joint clamps or whatever they are - would like to though!
