Wolf, if you read Dave's Blog, he covers the differences. The rockers oil grooves are offset on some later years and there are other differences as well outlined there. It's pretty important to keep the parts together in some years. If you have the correct rocker shaft/rockers and the connector that distributes the oil in the center, all will work fine.
