Ok I pulled the motor, lots of sludge on pickup and oil pan, found 1 lifter that appeared to be coming apart at the top, almost like it was made that way, like a cut 1/16th of an inch from the top, it would pump up and down...

All rings were free,bearings didn't look too bad to my, some had copper color showing thru.

Carbon caked in Pistons but tons more in the head and valves. #3 and #4 the worst.

.060 stamped on the tops of the Pistons, cylinder walls looked nice and shiny, was able to push Pistons out by hand.

Also found casting numbers by starter. "Con 3 A135"
