I'll have to swing by northern tool and get a compression tester, i dont have one- I assume the procedure will probably be written on the box?

I ran some coolant system flush thru a few full temp heat cycles already, also before i ever started it when i was changing the water pump i flushed the block with the water pump off with a garden hose, plugging the other holes while it did, it has a new radiator- actually my temps are only about 160-170 per my autozone gauges i bought - never seems to get very hot at all - has a 180 degree thermostat.
