Maybe this has been covered already, but have you changed the points and condenser? What brings you to fuel system issues? Trying to help. If it IS fuel system related, start at the gas tank. Make sure that its not stopped up with rust and crud which is very likely. Then check the fuel pump. With the line disconnected at the carb, does it spurt dangerous explosive gasoline all over your hot engine? If it does, and your carb is filling the bowl, go to ignition issues. Lots of guys here happy to help you troubleshoot.
