I found a couple of things out of whack. My RR wheel wasn't engaging because I had failed to properly install the wheel cylinder-to-brakeshoe rod on one side. Only one shoe was trying to expand against the drum. Not very effective. Also, all four sets of shoes were backed way too far away from the drums due to me being too worried about eliminating every vestige of rubbing brakeshoe noise. I tightened and backed-off 10 clicks per Jerry's suggestion. Way more brake pedal now. I test drove the vehicle and it stops well with all 4 drums equally hot. The dual master cylinder is releasing OK. I have also had the issue that Don mentioned happen before so I am on guard about that. So, it paid off to be paranoid and feel the brake drums after test driving because I did indeed make some mistakes with my installation. I've also found some additional bugs to work out but I can't use brakes as an excuse to not get out on the highway. Thanks everybody! Dave
