The last time I checked, public roads were free to travel. Map out a 100-mile loop, set up a particular ignition system, carb jetting, timing setting, etc., and take a drive. Do it again. And again- - - -and again. Minimum of 10 trips. Document the fuel consumption.
Make ONE change- - - - -maybe a different power valve spring- - -repeat the test. Document. Do something else, maybe a plug gap change. Test again. Change coils- - -test again.
These real-world results might mean something worth reporting on.
