I do not mind the thought of static tests as they are great for comparison.
I do not mind a load or driven test after the static test for showing usage values.
But a open live road test does not mean a thing as to many variables come into play, doing ten or a hundred loops dilutes those variables some but only so far.
If you want a road test then a closed track test removes a major portion of those variables. But a dyno test with variable loads can achieve the same thing.
But you need access to a track or a dyno for that effort.
