With just a little more tinkering, it would be possible to go with a SEFI port injection setup, which makes a lot more sense than TBI. Since the stovebolt engines use siamesed ports, it wouldn't be true ported injection, but timing the injectors to match the firing order makes a lot more sense than just dumping the fuel into the middle of the manifold and hoping it finds its way where it's needed.
