No I did not use a primer, I just thoroughly cleaned the block and then sprayed it with the rattle can, three coats.
Again my question, would normal automotive paint work, get a quart made up, or... does the paint have to be specifically made for an engine and the temperatures it runs at?
I want to be able to brush the paint on in the areas that are hard to reach with a spray can (engine is still in the truck)
