You definitely see the contrast between the black dist cap and the engine. And the white shirt. Also the man standing near an engine appears to have light gray pants and the frames the engines appear to be the same gray as well.

The contrast/color in the B&W photos (colors shown as different shades of gray) makes it look as your engine and those engines are of very similar color.
