We need a GMC guy to step in here with a picture of their heat riser because them boys at GMC got it right. The GMC heat riser bushing is night and day better than a Chevy heat riser.
Alvin, when you see the GMC version I think that is the way to go and a competent machinist can redo the Chevy version. That's the plan I have for my dual '53-'54 Corvette exhaust pivot. It has a small leak and I think that problem can be solved, I plan on bringing the manifold over to Grigg this summer.
