Here is what I found.
From the outside edge of the ball joint to the end of the threads is 4 1/2" long.....the thread is 18 TPI and the nut that screws on it is 7/16 X 20 TPI.
..as a side note: if I put my thread/bolt guage over the stem it measures 9/16" half way down the stem.
Here is a link to Filling Station. Go down to the tie rod and it is what I would order for my vehicle. 21.50 each and there is a left and a right hand thread.
