I also had a large heavy copper heat exchanger with 1/2" lines
from an industrial refrigeration unit. I dragged it around
for thirty years and scrapped it after I made my move a few
years ago. Wish I'd of kept it, I would have put it to work
now. That's exactly why I try my damnedest not to throw
anything away. It never fails, the day after I scrap
something, that's just when I'll find a use for it.
I've also thought about running a coil inside of a small
refrigerator but by the time you get it all together you could
have bought one already made. That one that Tim posted starts
looking pretty good when you think about making your own cooler.
I'm starting to feel like a Deve. Think I'll come back down to
earth and get practical. For as much as I'm going to use the
air in a hobby shop, that piping arrangement that TP Tools
suggests is more than adequate.
