My installation: black pipe and following the design guidelines given by TP Tools. I bought all-brass valves from Harbor Freight.

I do not have the threading tools. I bought threaded lengths and got it done very quickly. I have had no problem in over 12 years. I have never had moisture in the "feed" lines but I drain the drops a few times every summer (and, before winter hibernation).
